By far the most influential film segment for me is from Andrew Kidman's "Litmus". Derek Hynd riding a 5'8 frye fish at J-bay, absolutely the most incredibly stylistic surfing I have seen. The cinematography, music and surfing all work so well together. The viewer is continually transfixed by the endless possibilities of the expressiveness of Derek's surfing.
