Well, I am happy to report I am home with my family and feeling a bit better. Hard to believe I have a new pulmonary heart valve in-place and all is supposed to be functioning much more normally. The doctors' reported that my
pre-procedure blood pressure in the right ventricle was four times what is normal, thereby placing extremely stress on the heart. Who would have known it was so bad as I
didn't feel that winded in the water. I am hopeful that things will improve over the course of the next week or so as I am still quite sore and a bit weak. I guess it really needed to be done. Once again I highly recommend the staff at the pediatric cardiology unit at Columbia Pres. Dr.
Hellenbrand is an amazing doctor. Hoping to be in the water within the month- probably small log waves for a while... break out the coop.......

"Jack's back!" Good to hear. I have posted a few square Holga & Rolleicords over my way while you been "under" and gave you a little shout out today. Get better. Get shooting. Get surfing. Neil
Stay strong, think good thoughts, and I like Neil's advice - listen to some good music.
Best wishes on the recovery trail. Aloha!
