Surfing NY in the early 1900's

This photograph was taken by Alfred Stieglitz during his early experiments with pictoralism and the Photo-Sucession Movement. The photograph was shown at at Gallery 21 for next to works of Edward Steichen, Paul Strand and Clarence H. White's work. Photogravures of this image from Camera Works are highly sought after. This is all great but who knew Alfred cared about dawn patrol.... I jest, it's just my feeble attempt at photography..
