The old and new....
This photograph is a bit of a look back to those incredible surf images from long ago. You know the images of the forefathers of surfing standing with their surf craft.
I like this photograph for it's marriage of old and new. The combination of the timeless pose of the surfer with classic but very progressive log (cooperdesign), shot with a modified camera from the early fifties (flipped lens Kodak Brownie Hawkeye),using severely outdated and discontinued film (ektakchrome) that was cross-processed.
