Elvis Perkins at Dearland- At the Bell House

I had the opportunity to check out the Elvis Perkins at Dearland Show last night at the Bell House in Brooklyn. These days I am rarely blown away by live shows, but last evening was one of those rare nights whereby you are opened up and exposed to something uniquely new and fresh. The combination of fantastic musicianship, haunting vocals, exceptional melody & harmony, evocative song writing and a palpable sense of vulnerability made the music alive and penetrating.
