I exposed this photograph at the pre-dawn hours on a cold, cloudy and rainy morning as IDA approached. I like the sense of anticipation and the drama of the pre-dawn light and the outline of my friend scouting out the break. The tidal surge was quite high, creating a psuedo mini-river mouth.
