sometimes its not about the surf but,

the connectivity of being in-sync with the ocean. The sea sounds, salt air scents and the feel of the sand under foot provide a tremendous sense of groundedness and stillness which I crave during difficult times . The last few weeks have been charged with some significant stressors, but the ocean has provided a unique therapeutic opportunity.

Indeed, indeed.

For me it's the time to not talk, the fluid, rhythmic white-noise and the overwhelming enormity of the ocean itself that reminds me that, after all, I'm only human...

Good for ego-maintenance.
