Further.... on down the road

Memorial day weekend was sandwiched between two awesome busBBQ's at a pseudo san-o NY locale. Luckily the local authorities have been chill. Thursday night's featured blue point oysters in the raw, smoked beef brisket, and some killer BBQ ribs, veggie kabob, bbq'd bunt cake and brownies. Monday night featured deep fried coconut shrimp, fried clams with spicy hot tartar sauce, Buffalo wings, lamb chops, and barbecued chicken followed by homemade chocolate ice cream. plently of dark and stormies and assorted cup beverages were circulating. Bill Patron, and LaCheezy do it right, chill tunes and a very mellow, kid friendly vibe!! I am always amazed at the food preparation. The above photograph was taken at last month's dead show at nassau. Surf was marginal at best this weekend, however had some fun on the 10'1 nosedevil- what an aircraft carrier!!
